The Austin Germani Memorial Fund is helping Strike Out Stress with our 2nd Annual Bowling Tournament for youth and young adult mental wellbeing.
Join us Thursday, January 29th from 3-7PM for The Strike Out Stress fundraiser & celebration of Austin Germani, presented by the Austin Germani Memorial Fund. This year’s tournament will benefit VCU’s Center for Human Animal Interaction and Boys to Men Mentoring of Central Virginia.
Last year’s inaugural tournament sold out with over 80 bowlers and 35 sponsors, raising $10,800 for the beneficiary organizations. Live DJ will be setting the atmosphere for an unrivaled fundraising tournament, while bowlers enjoy food and drinks. We will have many exciting raffle items and a prize for the winning team!
The Austin Germani Memorial Fund has chosen VCU’s CHAI to help fund their Dogs on Call program visiting youth in the Virginia Treatment Center for Children during their class time. VTCC provides round-the -clock in-patient care for children and adolescents with the goal of stabilizing and safely transitioning them back into their daily lives. The Dogs on Call program brings a bright light and sense of caring and hope to the residents. Boys to Men Mentoring of Central Virginia is working on our school systems to provide guidance and health social – emotional mentoring for boys to build foundational stability so they are equipped to handle life challenges.
We don’t skip the party on Austin’s birthday! We are bowling, laughing, and dancing, all to support youth and young adult mental health! www.austingermanimemorialfund.com
