ANSWERS TO OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHERE DO I PARK?

We do have an onsite parking lot, as well as street parking on Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Leigh Street, and throughout Scott’s Addition. We always recommend taking advantage of ride share services like Uber or Lyft.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Our patio, named Tommie’s Patio, is dog-friendly! Dogs must remain on leash at all times. Service animals are the only animals allowed indoors at any time. PRO TIP: Save 10% every time you bring your dog to Tommie’s Patio!

dO I NEED A RESERVATION?

We always recommend reserving lanes or tables online in advance if you’re planning ahead! Please understand that you’re reserving a timeframe, and there may be times when your lanes or table are not ready at the exact time that you reserved. We’ll do our best to get you seated in a reasonable amount of time.

Can I walk-in with no reservation?

We reserve 8 lanes for walk ups each day of the week. Bowling is popular, so if you don’t get here early, there may still be up to a 2-3 hour wait to get a lane. We recommend putting your name down on the list, and grabbing a bite or a drink at a table or at the bar. Usually, we can get you a lane in less time than was originally quoted.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Little rollers are welcome until 7pm daily. We are flexible with this rule on weekdays as long as you’re in the building before 7pm. Please, no drop offs. Adult supervision is required at all times.

CAN WE EAT & BOWL?

Yes, of course! Your group will have a dedicated server to handle all of your food and beverage orders, meaning more time to bowl!

HOW can I reserve multiple lanes?

Our reservation system reserves the correct number of adjoined lanes based on the number of guests that you are reserving for. No need to make multiple reservations!

Can I bring my own ball & shoes?

Yes, we welcome them. To make room for your bowling ball, please remove one of the balls from the ball return. This will prevent issues with the ball return getting jammed up.

Are your lanes regulation length?

Yes, they are! It’s the approach to the lane that is short, and intentionally so. We are an entertainment venue that welcomes all skill levels, and strives to keep a fun and family friendly environment. We do not appeal to leagues or league bowlers, so if you’re looking for some serious practice time, we recommend going to a classic bowling alley.

WHERE WILL THE BAND PLAY?

Our live music takes place inside, unless the event on our website calendar says otherwise. Our stage area has tables that can be reserved online.

Can I hear the band from my patio table?

When the weather is nice, we will open the garage doors for the guests seated on the patio. Otherwise, the garage doors will remain closed.

Can I see the band if I have a lane reserved?

Our bowling lanes on the music side of the venue are open to walk-ups if you’d like to bowl while enjoying live music. If you make a lane reservation and want to see the band, please make a note on your reservation and we’ll do our best to accommodate the request.

How do I get my band booked?

Please send info to music@rivercityroll.com!

WHY WAS MY CAR TOWED?

We understand if you need to Uber home — but please be sure to pick up your vehicle before we open the following day to make space for incoming customers. We begin towing vehicles 1 hour prior to opening — 4pm on weekdays and 9:30am on weekends.
